Sonny Bill Williams says he will ‘100 percent’ fight Paul Gallen in their long awaited boxing showdown.

Williams – back in Sydney preparing for his NRL return with the Sydney Roosters – after Toronto Wolfpack pulled themselves out of the remainder of the 2020 Super League season.

“What this opportunity has allowed me to realise is I still have that passion and drive to still be successful as a professional sportsman,” the two-time NRL champion told Nine’s 100% Footy.

“I feel like I’ve got a couple of things I want to achieve, whether that be on the field or in the ring, time will tell. But for myself firstly it’s about putting my best foot forward with the Roosters lads, getting the body right, trying to crack that 17.

“Next year I’m still contracted to Toronto but it’s a really volatile situation at the moment, things change from day to day, so I just have to say, god willing, it all works out and I’m sure it will.”
