Gold Coast star Kevin Proctor says he “will fight to the death” to clear his name at the judiciary after being sent off in the Titans loss to Cronulla on Saturday.

Playing in his 250th NRL game, Proctor was marched by referee Henry Perenara after an incident with fellow Kiwi Shaun Johnson.

“My record in this game speaks for itself,” Proctor told News Corp.

“I didn’t bite him, I am 100% on that.

“I will fight to the death to clear my name.”

Johnson and Proctor quickly made up after the game with Johnson even apologising for Proctor being dismissed.

“I’m so pissed off about this,” Proctor added.

“It was a massive overreaction from the refs in my eyes.”
