Arguably the most damaging forward in Europe Ben Murdoch-Masila is returning to the NRL with the New Zealand Warriors in 2021 it was confirmed.

The 29-year-old Tongan International hasn’t played in the NRL since he left Penrith in 2015.

Since joinging the Warrington Wolves in England, Murdoch-Masila has become one of the most dominant players in the Super League.

“Ben is right up among the best forwards in the game right now and he had plenty of clubs trying to sign him,” said Vodafone Warriors recruitment manager Peter O’Sullivan.

“It’s a huge signing for us, one we couldn’t be happier with.

“Ben always had enormous potential and has now matured into a total professional. He’ll be a real asset to have back in the NRL.”

Murdoch-Masila made his NRL debut for Wests Tigers in that classic 2010 semi-final at the SFS.
