Retired Queensland legend Corey Parker has slammed NSWRL and coach Brad Fittler for not picking David Klemmer in Game III in Sydney.

Klemmer was one of NSW’s best in Brisbane and broke his wrist during the loss and missed Game II accordingly.

Parker, like many others, believed Klemmer should have walked straight back into the side.

“I am not usually one to rant , but here I go!” Parker wrote on Twitter.

“I bleed MAROON but I like to think I’m also pretty fair in regards to my opinion . I CANNOT believe that NSW have over looked a player who in my option nearly single-handedly won the game in game1.

“Not to mention playing with a broken.. Wrist in which he did for his beloved state , and continued to make a difference. For him to display that sort of toughness and passion and then to pull apart the broncos in a early return, to not be picked is absolutely not fare ! Loyalty is to those that deserve it . Wow !!!!!”

Fellow former Maroon Lote Tuqiri chimed in asking who Parker would drop.

“Drop the player you bought in for him ! He (Klemmer) broke his wrist mate and is now right again ? Nothing against (Daniel) saifiti , his time will come again” Parker replied.

Klemmer is 18th man and could still make the team if Tariq Sims is suspended at the judiciary this evening.
