Think you have it bad sitting on the M5 or taking a thousand trains across Sydney just to get a game of footy?
You will never complain again after hearing about what the Broome Jets rugby league team did just to get a game recently.
The Jets travelled 13 hours by bus to the annual Kununurra Nines tournament which boasted sides from across Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
In stifling conditions, Broome finished the pool rounds with a draw and two losses.
Mimia Larry Kurrsi Memorial would eventually beat out Katherine Cowboys 17-11 in the grand final – a repeat of the 2017 decider.
The Jets then jumped back on the bus and drove all the way back to Broome.
Bravo, gentlemen!
