Utility gun Tyrone Peachey is shooting for a try on State of Origin debut this Wednesday night when his NSW Blue take on Queensland at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Peachey has been a revelation for the Panthers at club level and has proven he can be an attacking threat anywhere on the field and he’s hoping to turn that Telstra Premiership form into something bigger at the next level.
“There’s a lot of people that Queensland have to watch with the Fox (Josh Addo-Carr) and Turbo (Tom Trbojevic),” he said.
“I’m just hoping that when I get on there they don’t even worry about me. I’ll just be like a little silent assassin and hopefully come away with a sneaky try or something.
“That would be pretty good.”
