Organisers of the historic England versus New Zealand Test match in Denver aren’t worry about a rugby union 7’s tournament being played in the local area at the same time.
Replying directing to The81stMinute on Twitter, Rugby League Football International Challenge say they are promoting the game instead to fans of other Denver sports like the Denver Broncos: “Our primary target audience are the thousands of diehard @Broncos @Avalanche (NHL team) @DenverOutlaws (lacrosse) fans who will have an amazing afternoon @SportsAuthField and witness for themselves the unique physicality & speed of international rugby league football. #ClashResolved”.
20,000 tickets have already been sold.
