Queensland Maroons legend Petero Civoneciva says his state has a difficult job ahead picking a team of in-form players as the three QLD NRL teams continue to struggle but did sound out one rising Gold Coast Titan for selection.

“Not only are these teams struggling, several key players in the Queensland setup are lacking form at club level, which poses as a challenge for the Maroons selectors,” Civoneciva told Big League magazine.

”One player who deserves his shot is Jai Arrow, who has been in great form for the Titans. He’s playing in a side that has battled, but he’s been one of their best.”

State of Origin squads will be selected in under two weeks.
