WESTERN SUBURBS MAGPIES

1. Watson Heleta 8: Very safe defensively and proved a menace in attack all afternoon.
2. David Nofoaluma 5: Scored a couple of tries but made a few errors trying to force the offload.
3. Taane Milne 6: Made plenty of tough metres coming out of his side’s own end.
4. Toni Tali 6: A solid outing. Didn’t see enough ball.
5. Mahe Fonua 6: Similar day to Nofoaluma. Was a handful for the Doggies but made some key errors.
6. Tyson Gamble 9: Our Man of the Match. Played like a guy on his way to first grade.
7. Josh Drinkwater 8: Best game I’ve seen Drinkwater play. Cool, calm and kicked beautifully.
8. Sauaso Sue 8: Great effort by Sue. Plenty of work from the big man.
18. Braden Robson 6: Good service from dummy half but didn’t cause Canterbury too many issues.
10. JJ Felise 7: Big game. Ran hard and ate up the metres.
11. Chris McQueen 5: Didn’t notice him at all in the first half.
12. Luke Garner 8: Proved a constant threat on the left edge. Loves the gritty stuff.
13. Bayley Sironen 9: Awesome game from the lock. Ran good lines, classy with the ball. Has NRL written all over him.

Interchange:
14. Patrice Siolo 6: Impressed when he came on to replace Robson.
15. Joseph Ratu 8: Monster. Will be starting soon.
16. Cowen Epere 6: Solid performance. Didn’t let anyone down.
20. Lucas Price 4: Came on late. Minimal chances.

CANTERBURY-BANKSTOWN BULLDOGS

1. Josh Bergamin 7: One of Canterbury’s best. Kept toiling and showing up for his team.

3. John Olive 5: Barely spotted. Outplayed by his opponent.
4. Jarred Anderson 5: Lack of football.
5. Reimis Smith 4: A very quiet day for Smith.
6. Josh Cleeland 7: Classy outing until he came from the field with a leg injury.
7. Lachlan Lewis 7: Looked dangerous with the ball and tested the Magpies line.
8. Renouf To’omaga 6: Outplayed by Sue and Felise. Dogs needed more from the prop.
9. Fa’amanu Brown 7: Mature performance from Brown. Controlled the ruck tempo for his side and looked good with the ball.
10. Francis Tualau 5: Didn’t bend the Wests line. Zero impact.
11. Rhyse Martin 6: Looked dangerous but touches were few and far between.
