Rugby league Immortal Graeme Langlands has passed away in his sleep aged 76 following a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
The St George Dragons legend icon had recently been accused of indecent assault of a girl under the age of 16.
“There are only eight immortals and Graeme is one of them – that says it all,” NRL CEO Todd Greenberg said.
“He was such a dominant player in his era – so many fans would remember growing up watching ‘Changa’ at his best.
“It is a sad loss for the rugby league community and especially for those closest to him.”
The rugby league world has lost a giant today with the passing of Graeme Langlands. Our condolences to all of his family & friends. RIP Changa

Very sad to hear of the passing of the great Graeme Langlands. He spent many hours with me in W'gong as a 19yr old mentoring me as a fullback. RIP Chang, gone but never forgotten. pic.twitter.com/wMUWQPuf9E
