Queensland Maroons legend Corey Parker has earmarked rising Melbourne Storm star Cameron Munster for his State of Origin debut in Game III to replace injured centre Darius Boyd.

Speaking on Fox Sports’ On The Couch With Sterlo, Parker likened Munster to Australian and New South Wales utility Jack Bird.

“I work backwards, so if I’m coaching against Queensland, who don’t I want to see there,” Parker said.

“Cameron Munster comes to mind, he’s a Queensland version of Jack Bird.

“I’d be putting him at centre filling in Darius’ roll.”
