Toothless Broncos forward pack desperately in need of some Korbin Sims

Despite only transferring to Brisbane a month ago – Korbin Sims may end up being the x-factor the Broncos forward pack requires after losing legend Corey Parker to retirement.

The Broncos were out muscled by Warrington in a disastrous World Club Series outing ahead of their round one match against Cronulla on March 2.

Josh McGuire is expected to move to lock but that leaves a massive hole with Jarrod Wallace also leaving for the Gold Coast Titans.

Adam Blair says the Broncos will need a firing Sims in a young pack.

“He’s been really good,” Blair said.

“I’ve played with him twice now and watched his (trial) game against the Sharks.

“He is a big body and is something we need coming off our bench or whether he is starting.

“He’s done as much as he can. He’s worked really hard in the games and trained hard.”
