Canterbury Bulldogs legend and current assistant coach Jim Dymock says the Belmore club will spend the rest of pre-season working on their much-maligned attack.

The Bulldogs failed to fire at the backend of the season and were eliminated in week one of the playoffs by Penrith.

“It will be about working on the new structures that we have put in place with our offence,” Dymock told bulldogs.com.au.

“With the return of Greg Eastwood, James Graham and David Klemmer, it will be about getting those boys up to speed with what we have worked on all summer.”

Dymock also defended the Bulldogs saying errors plagued their 2016 campaign – not specific offensive tactics.

“We have tinkered with the offence a little bit, but coming into Round 19 of the 2016 NRL season we were second for tries scored,” he said.

“There wasn’t a lot going wrong with our attack, but there was just too much drop ball at the end of the season, which resulted in doing too much defence.”

“We have changed and let’s hope we see a different Canterbury Bulldogs side this year.”

The Bulldogs will rely heavily on half Moses Mbye. Both Michael Lichaa and Josh Reynolds have come under fire for their lack of orginsational skills in the past.

Dymock singled out heavyweights Sam Kasiano and Greg Eastwood for praise after the pair returned to training in perfect shape.
