The greatest five-eigth to play for Canterbury-Bankstown has called on the club to re-sign off-contract favourite Josh Reynolds immediately.
Speaking to foxsports.com.au, Terry Lamb said keeping Reynolds at Belmore was a priority.
“He’s a local junior, because he’s a local junior I would be signing him up straight away but that’s for the club to decide,” Lamb said.
“Josh probably needs to settle down more than anything, he’s very excited, he loves the game of footy.
“But he goes 100 miles an hour at the game all the time. He just needs to have a tempo, play through the game at maybe 80 per cent at times and push it up to 100 per cent when the time’s right.
“He’s so calm off the field, I talk to him about football and everything else and he’s so calm and relaxed.
“He’s a different person but when he passes that white line he gets that energy going.”
Reynolds goes into 2017 under immense pressure to help change Canterbury’s attacking fortunes along with halves partner Moses Mbye and coach Des Hasler.
