Boom prodigy Kalyn Ponga is set to become the richest teenager in NRL history with reports breaking on Wednesday Ponga had been offered a whopping $3.6 million offer from the Newcastle Knights.
The deal is reportedly worth over $700,000 a season for five years despite Ponga only ever playing two NRL games.
Ponga has had interested from countless league clubs, rugby union and AFL’s Brisbane Lions.
“We face a tough battle to keep Kalyn with the money that is being offered,” Cowboys GM Peter Parr told News Corp.
