Forget NRL Rivalry Round. Newcastle Knights legend Matthew Johns wants a full-blown ‘Bad Blood’ round after it was announced that Robbie Farah’s South Sydney would face Jason Taylor’s Wests Tigers in round of the 2017 season.

Speaking on Triple M’s Grill Team, Johns believes the NRL could add much more spice to their own fixtures.

“I’d actually have a round in the NRL called bad blood round, where you work out all the sides and you highlight the history of why these clubs don’t like each other.”
