Age shall not weary ‘The Rat’. Cronulla-Sutherland legend Mat Rogers is set to make a shock comeback at the Auckland Nines in February according to Rugby League Week.

Rogers, son of fellow club icon Steve and father to Sharks lower grader Jack, is set to join former Gold Coast teammate Scott Prince at the Nines after reports suggested Prince too would line up at the festival of football.

Rogers is a dual-international and State of Origin hero for Queensland.
