According to a report from the New Zealand Herald, the Kiwis open training session on the hallowed home of Scottish rugby union, Murrayfield, has been cancelled.
The training session will now be conducted behind closed doors.
According to sources, Scottish Rugby Union did not want to been seen as supporting the Kiwi rugby league team in the build-up to their match with Scotland’s national counterpart, the Bravehearts.
The test match against Scotland is scheduled for Workington in England and the Kiwis didn’t have to travel to Scotland to train but felt like it was the right thing to do according to the report.
