New Zealand Warriors superstar Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is back on the training field after missing the majority of 2016 through injury.

It’s a completely different landscape that RTS returns to with Stephen Kearney appointed new head coach and Kieran Foran reportedly on his way to the club.

“I’m on track with my rehab, I’m back on the grass and so much happier now that I’m running a lot,” Tuivasa-Sheck said.

Meanwhile Warriors hooker Issac Luke is excited about Kearney’s return to the Auckland-based club where the former Kiwi International played in the mid 1990’s.

“He really helped the Storm with their defence, so if we can get anywhere near that, we’ll shut down a lot of teams,” Luke said.

“The boys are excited to have him on board.”
