Castleford are leading the race to sign former Man of Steel Zak Hardaker on-loan for 2017. It’s believed the West Yorkshire outfit are just one of a handful of clubs chasing the fullback’s signature, but Hardaker is said to be a fan of Daryl Powell’s coaching techniques.
Salford & Huddersfield are also understood to still be interested in the the 24-year old, as were Hull KR before their relegation, however the Tigers are now in poll position to sign the Penrith man.
