Queensland State of Origin legend Petero Civoneciva believes young North Queensland Cowboys prop Coen Hess is a future representative star after a breakout 2016 season for the defending premiers.
“What a player,” Civoneciva told AAP.
“I was sitting back watching him thinking ‘this guy has got a massive future’.
“He wasn’t waiting for the game to come to him, he was chasing the game which is a great sign for a young guy new in his career.
“He has all the attributes to have a successful NRL career and hopefully representative career.”
