Wayne Bennett has praised Gold Coast Chief Executive Graham Annesley and coach Neil Henry ahead of their elimination final tonight at Suncorp Stadium.
While the attention will be on new Titans recruit Jarryd Hayne, Bennett believes the hard work had been done long ago by Annesley and Henry.
“One of the best things I’ve seen this season is the size of the crowds they are getting to their games. I hate seeing an empty stadium down there,” Bennett said.
“Everyone down there has done a really good job.
“Graham Annesley and Neil Henry have transformed that club.
“They’ve given the side some confidence and belief, and now we are seeing the results that come with that.
“It’s all been really great for rugby league on the coast.”
