Unsung Cronulla Sharks Sam Tagataese wants to stay in the Shire despite previously meeting with the NSW Waratahs rugby club.

“It’s definitely still in my heart,” Tagataese told foxsports.com.au.

“I’ve built some good relationships here and it would be good to finish my career here too. That would be nice.

“There’s some big decisions there.

“My faith has got me to a place where I am content with where I am and just trusting in God and where he’ll take me.

“That’s kept me cemented to the ground and not worrying about all these other things. That’s a big part for me.”
