Greg Eastwood says the 2016 version of Canterbury-Bankstown is a better team than the one that made the 2014 grand final.
The Bulldogs are in the worst form slump of their campaign and must find a way out against the team that beat them in the ’14 decider, South Sydney.
“For us, our best games are when we are in the big games,” Eastwood said.
“When we’re in the big moments we play a lot better than just turning up against sides that aren’t doing so well – we’re not as bad [as the 2014 team]. We went up and lost to Gold Coast then turned it around against Melbourne [week one finals] the following week and beat them down there. Fingers crossed we can get a win this week, get some momentum and peak at the right time.”
