Embattled star Kieran Foran could end up in his home country at the New Zealand Warriors after News Corp reported that the club had been in talks with the former Parramatta captain.

“When Kieran decides he’s ready to resume his playing career, we’ll certainly be interested in talking to him further,” Warriors CEO Jim Doyle said in a statement.

“I’ve talked to Kieran more regularly this year to offer support as he dealt with personal challenges he was facing.

“His wellbeing has been the focus.”
