Rugby league legend Peter Sterling has called out the NRL’s nigglers after more push and shove in Gold Coast and Cronulla’s 18-18 draw on Monday night.

Since the punching rule has been scrapped, players now have a free ticket to do anything they can do upset opposing players.

“There are some players in this game who start talking when something goes wrong against their opponents and deadset just need one on their chin,” Sterling said on Triple M’s coverage.
