Cronulla captain Paul Gallen has blamed State of Origin on his team’s form slump going into the finals.

The Sharks were easily outgunned by rivals St. George Illawarra despite the Dragons hapless offensive season.

“We’ve just been a little bit disjointed and if we can just get that back together and have a good week and get our training back on track, we can turn it around,” Gallen told the Sunday Footy Show.

“When you look at the past 10 weeks or so, we haven’t trained well or together much as a team throughout that Origin period, we had a big representation there.”
