Sydney Roosters coach Trent Robinson has hosed down speculation Blake Ferguson could become the team’s long term fullback despite a return to form at the back for the tricolours.

Ferguson starred for the Roosters on Sunday as the home side hammered St George Illawarra 42-6.

“We think Blake is a centre,” Robinson said.

“But it is good to have that versatility in the squad.

“He is getting some experience back there and he is enjoying it.

“He has been good for us there and it is a benefit to have that.”
