Cooper Cronk has re-signed with the Melbourne Storm meaning the champion halfback will end his career in the Victorian capital.

The premiership-winning playmaker has signed for a further two years and will retire at the end of 2018.

“Cooper is one of the very elite players of our game and to have himself, Cameron Smith and Billy Slater finish their careers as one-club players with Melbourne Storm is a testament to the contributions these players have made to building this Club,” Storm CEO Dave Donaghy said.

“Cooper is a Melbourne Storm person through and through, he cares deeply about what the Club stands for and makes sure the playing group lives our values on a daily basis.

“We are delighted our members will be able to see a player of Cooper’s calibre play out the remainder of his career at AAMI Park.”
