Hall of Fame #30: Keith Holman

Keith Holman dominated the Australian halfback position for most of the 1950’s amassing over thirty test matches for the Kangaroos.
The little playmaker also led Australia to their first Ashes triumph in three decades.
Beloved by the Western Suburbs faithful, Holman would don the black and white on 203 occasions and would coach the Magpies in two stints over twenty years apart.
Holman then became a referee in retirement and was awarded the post for the 1971 grand final.
In his final season at Wests as player or coach, Holman’s Magpies claimed the 1977 Amco Cup.
