Shaun Johnson has praised the Sydney Roosters after his Warriors escaped with a 12-10 on Sunday at Mount Smart Stadium.
Johnson received three Handyman Magazine Medal points but it wasn’t easy going for the Warriors or their star half.
“It was probably frustrating at times for me not taking the line on, but generally it just wasn’t on,” he said.
“I stuck with it. I kept in the play, kept my eyes forward and an opportunity came and I took (his try), so very happy.”
