Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson can’t wait for the bye next weekend as he continues to play through a leg injury.

The Auckland-based outfit clash with Gold Coast Titans on Saturday before having the following weekend off.

“I’ve been pushing for the last two to three weeks now and one more to go,” Johnson said.

The superstar playmaker added that the injury came and went through a match.

“Obviously the kicking is a big part of my game,” he said.

“The first couple might be alright, but then I might have to do a sprint and I sort of feel it.

“Then, at the back end of that, I maybe put a long kick in, and that’s when it really affects me, but it hasn’t affected me enough to pull me off the field.”
