These are the images that should have South Sydney trainer Kurt Wrigley suspended and the Rabbitohs club fined.
After chasing through a grubber kick on Friday night, Panthers utility Tyrone Peachey slams into the advertising boards at the northern end of the ground.
A Souths player immediately yanks at the ball which Peachey is still on top off. The Souths player gives up. It’s then that Wrigley, a former Cronulla Sharks first grader, has a go with absolutely no thought for Peachey’s welfare.
It does not matter that Souths or Wrigley thought Peachey might be killing time to allow his teammates a chance to get onside from the ensuing twenty metre tap.
Welfare of the player comes first and no trainer has the right to touch an opposition player in that manner or even handle the ball.
After all, he did just smash into a wall.
