Parramatta forward Junior Paulo is in hot water after recently turning out for a park rugby union team without the knowledge of the Eels.
In a The81stMinute exclusive, we can reveal that Paulo had been approached by Wallabies boss Bill Pulver about the cross code switch.
“I thought I was playing for the Wallabies, bro,” the hulking prop told us.
“They paid me with a brown paper bag like they do at Parra but all that was in there was tickets to go see the Western Force.
“I don’t like Star Wars, aye.”
The81stMinute spoke to Pulver who said that junior player numbers were up since Paulo’s debut.
When we challenged him and said rugby union didn’t have any junior players – Pulver slowly backed out of the room.
