Tonight’s clash against Parramatta will be Tariq Sims’ last in Newcastle colours according to Knights great Matthew Johns.

Johns has told the Triple M Grill Team that Sims has already told his teammates and will be joining St George Illawarra on Tuesday.

“He told the players after the training session that the Knights game against Parramatta will be his last for Newcastle.”

It’s a bitter pill for the Knights and coach Nathan Brown who is trying to rebuild the club from the ground up.
