Kiwi enforcer Adam Blair says losing superstar Roger Tuivasa-Sheck for the Anzac Test on May 6th in Newcastle is a bitter pill to swallow but there were plenty of others waiting in the wings.
“For Roger, it’s disappointing. For New Zealand, disappointing. The Warriors, disappointing,” Blair said.
“It’s a tough blow for the Kiwis coming into the Test match but with the depth we have now in New Zealand rugby league, we’ve got a lot of young kids that have been stepping up.
“We’ve got a lot of kids that are ready to go.”
Warriors utility star Tui Lolohea gets his chance this weekend in place of Tuivasa-Sheck while other candidates includes Penrith’s Dallin Watene-Zelezniak and Peta Hiku.
