Sydney Roosters enforcer Kane Evans may not like Monday football but says he can’t wait to face Penrith tonight at Allianz Stadium.

“I can’t wait to play Penrith. It’s a shame we have had to wait until Monday to play them. I’m not a fan of Monday games, but we should be sweet. We only have the one win so far so it’s nothing to get carried away about,” Evans told NRL.Com.

“I want to try and play more at a high quality too – that’s a goal. I’ve come a long way but I still have a lot of things in front of me.

“I feel like I’m stronger and fitter, even a bit faster, but I want to improve so I can play plenty of extra minutes.”
