Manly tyro Darcy Lussick, a former Parramatta Eel himself, says Kieran Foran is on fire at his new club and will be looking forward to the challenge of returning to Brookvale Oval tonight.

“He’ll be ready for a big game,” Lussick said.

“His game on the weekend was really good. He likes playing at Brookie and he’s probably had this pencilled in for a while.

“We know what to expect from him and we’re looking forward to it.

“You always look forward to playing your old club. When I was at Parramatta I looked forward to playing Manly and now I’m looking forward to playing them on Thursday (tonight).”

Meanwhile Eels centre Michael Jennings – who comes up against Jamie Lyon and Steve Matai tonight – says Parramatta are bonding closer by the game.

“The boys just want to work for each other, plain and simple. No one wants to let anyone else down, you want to work for the man both sides of you.”
