The final piece of the Tumut Blues puzzle will come together after Philippines play Serbia in Sydney this weekend. After the match, Philippine winger and former Gold Coast local Trent Swanson will link with countryman Luke Srama who was named captain-coach of the Blues in the off-season.

“He’s the whole package,” Tumut President Dan Roddy said of Srama to the Tumut and Adelong Times in late October.

“He’s very experienced, everyone we spoke to where he has been previously spoke about him in glowing terms – the way he communicates with players, the skills he’s got around development, he’s very good with kids, he’s very good at getting his point across.”
