Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe has again defended his embattled club hinting that there may be more tough decisions ahead for the joint venture.
In a letter to Wests Members Pascoe said the right calls instead of popular calls would be made.
“The Club has undergone a lot of change in the last 12 months, all with one common goal in mind – to create a successful and sustainable Wests Tigers both on and off the field.
“This process of change is not an easy one but it is necessary if we all want different results across the Club.
“As a part of the change process the business will be undertaking a rigorous review of all our internal processes with the objective to improve our efficiencies and bottom line.
“We want to ensure that you, our Members, are proud of the decisions that we’re making, not because they are the popular decisions but because they are the right ones.”
Meanwhile England has named their team to play France at Leigh with NRL stars James Graham, Tom Burgess, Mike Cooper, Josh Hodgson and Gareth Widdop selected.
New Sydney Roosters winger Joe Burgess is in the squad along with Canberra’s new signing Elliott Whitehead.
