Legend Brad Fittler has backed the Canterbury Bulldogs to cause plenty of headaches in this year’s finals series.

“The Dogs always do well. They just somehow get it done, bit of a Dessy factor,” Fittler told sportsfan.com.au.

“The hooker, Damien Cook, has been outstanding.

“And Moses Mbye, who seems to be someone that handles pressure well.

“They’re the unknown. If they have big semis, they could do some damage.”

The Sydney Roosters legend also took a swipe at the finals system questioning whether a Top 8 is required.

“When you think about our finals, we have 16 teams and eight of them go through, so that’s half the competition,” he said.

“Well the fact that there’s more games is always good because I love watching footy, but I think there’s a reason why no one from the bottom four has won.”
