Parramatta Eels
Captain: Tim Mannah
Coach: Brad Arthur
Round 1: v Sea Eagles, Friday 7 March, Pirtek Stadium

Attack: 89
Defence: 89
Prediction: 10th

Strongest 17
1 Will Hopoate
2 Semi Radradra
3 Beau Champion
4 Brad Takairangi
5 Reece Robinson
6 Corey Norman
7 Chris Sandow

8 Darcy Lussick
9 Nathan Peats
10 Tim Mannah
11 Tepai Meoroa
12 Joseph Paulo
13 Anthony Watmough

14 Manu Ma’u
15 David Gower
16 Joseph Paulo
17 Junior Paulo

Highlight: The Eels playing as a real unit out of necessity with the loss of Jarryd Hayne.
Lowlight: The amount of Paulo to Paulo to Pauli Pauli quips we’ll hear from commentators.

There’s no hiding now for the likes of Chris Sandow, Corey Norman and Will Hopoate. With no Jarryd Hayne, these men and the rest of the team need to step up and I think they will because they just don’t have a choice. They can make the playoffs but need a few things to go their way, in a tight squeeze for the final eight, they may just miss out. But who knows in the wonderful world of the NRL?
