A mini revolution has hit Twitter, that’s if you’re a St George Illawarra fan, with a throng of angry Dragons fans making their feelings crystal clear with the hashtag #SaveOurSaints.

The disgruntled supporters have proactively sounded out numerous journalists and sportspeople including former Dragon Anthony Mundine, surfer Sally Fitzgibbons (girlfriend of Trent Merrin), American wrestling legend Roddy Piper and even Kevin Pietersen looking for support.

It comes on the back of an 0-2 start to the season for the Saints who also lost superstar winger Brett Morris to Canterbury in the pre-season and that news was compounded with State of Origin forward Merrin recently announcing he too was leaving the club.

Dragons feel their club is in disarray and in drastic need of change, and that apparently begins from the top with CEO Peter Doust in the firing line.
