Brad Fittler has played with some of the greatest props at all levels the game has known.

From Glenn Lazarus to Adrian Morley to Paul Harragan.

Speaking to sports fan.com.au yesterday, Fittler said George Burgess was fast becoming the best prop in the game.

“Players were really targeting him. I remember Greg Bird gave him a beauty of a shot … [but] now he’s got his balance” Fittler said.

“He knows what he can do, he looks a bit lighter, he knows his job extremely well, all his teammates understand what he can do as well.

“He’s not just a battering ram as you saw in last year’s grand final – he can put on nice footwork.”

“He’s in the top handful of players as in effectiveness at the moment. He’s one of the best.”
