Langmack admitted to mental health facility as Raudonikis rubbishes Magpies betting claims

Former Canterbury and Western Suburbs legend Paul Langmack has been admitted to a mental health facility just days after a peculiar rant on 2KY.

The retired Australian and State of Origin forward claimed he and former Magpies Coach Tommy Raudonikis would bet on matches in the 1990’s when Langmack was also captain of the team.

Langmack told the shocked 2KY presenters that he and Raudonikis would discuss whether their team could cover the spread with betting agencies days before games.

But Raudonikis, arguably Wests greatest ever player, has rubbished the claims.

“None of that is true at all,” Raudonikis told News Corp.

“There is no truth in it, not one bit. I’m denying it. It didn’t happen.

“I can only say I didn’t do it. That’s as far as I’m concerned. I have nothing to hide in my rugby league career.”

Langmack’s health is a serious concern for many within the rugby league community. The premiership-winner also recently beat cancer.
