Broncos superstar tyro Payne Haas ruled out for upwards of two months after win at Campbelltown

The hits just keep coming for the defending premiers with Brisbane Broncos’ superstar prop Payne Haas the latest to be ruled out for an extended period after their 21-20 win over Wests Tigers at Campbelltown on Saturday night.

Brisbane confirmed the news via their website on Monday.

“The Brisbane Broncos can confirm Payne Haas suffered a Grade 3 MCL injury in Saturday night’s game against the Wests Tigers Based on early medical assessments, Haas is expected to be sidelined for approximately 6-8 weeks.

“Meanwhile, Kotoni Staggs has a plantar fascia strain and Jesse Arthars has sustained a tear to his interosseous membrane.”
