Premiership-winning half Luke Keary has seen enough of the hapless St George Illawarra Dragons who are yet to win a game in season 2026.
The Dragons have looked flat and void of creativity and sit dead last as the only team without a win.
Keary has backed calls for a shake-up and hand diminutive playmaker Kade Reed a shot at the number 7 jersey.
“I think Kade Reed comes into the side… just throw him in,” Keary said on The Bye Round after Kyle Flanagan was knocked out against the Titans.
“From what I’ve seen in the trials, he’s gunna offer them something that they haven’t had in a long time.
“I think you just bite the bullet.”
Coach Shane Flanagan has refused to budge on his core side despite a shocking start to 2026.
Reed will again play NSW Cup this week.
