Three-time premiership-winner and Penrith Panthers superstar Nathan Cleary has conceded a switch to the English Super League wasn’t out of the question.

Speaking from the United Kingdom ahead of the World Club Challenge against Wigan, Cleary admitted a transfer was possible due to his girlfriend, Matildas striker Mary Fowler currently plying her trade with Manchester City.

“I’m not against it (switch to the Super League),” Cleary told The Mirror.

“I have a pretty open mind to that kind of stuff.
