Four-time premiership-winning Penrith Panthers captain and current Australian leader Isaah Yeo is set to be given the little c next to his name when Laurie Daley announces his squad in the coming days.
The Western Weekender’s Masked Panther revealed on Thursday morning that Yeo will replace Jake Trbojevic who is under extreme pressure to keep spot in the side.
Yeo’s selection at lock may also be a window into which way Daley goes with his spine with Nathan Cleary, Dylan Edwards and former Panthers favourite Jarome Luai all in battles for their respective positions.
Game I of the men’s State of Origin kicks off at Suncorp Stadium on Wednesday 28th May.
