23-year-old, off-contract, Australian Wallabies and ACT Brumbies hooker Billy Pollard is in the sights of the Perth Bears NRL franchise according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
Pollard played rugby league as a junior for Asquith Magpies and is open to the code switch back to rugby league.
“I did have an opportunity to go to Souths but by that stage I was probably looking at union,” Pollard said in 2024 about NRL clubs chasing him several years prior.
“He told me wherever I go… if you want to be the best you have to train like it and to act like it 24-7.”
